IPL machines are upgraded lasers and use polychromatic pulsing light. The IPL can be used for different purposes by simply exchanging the «head» of the device, i.e. by using different beams of light for different problems.

Permanent epilation
The hair on all parts of the body, in both men and women, can be treated without any adverse effects on your health.
The only restriction is that the person undergoing treatment mustn't be tanned since the IPL registers skin melanin and its power will be dispersed, with a weaker effect in the desired spot.

Before the treatment you also shouldn't wax the hairs (pluck them), but they can be trimmed or shaved since the laser ‘likes’ hair with stronger roots.
